Location is excellent, right on the rynek (town square). Finding it was a little tricky since it is on the back side of the inner courtyard of the building at that address. That said, it felt completely safe and was easy to navigate around the Old Town from there. A big plus was the grocery alongside the property, open until late in the evening. It included baked breads and rolls brought fresh several times each day. It also sells wine and other beverages.
Specifically, I worried about the steps up to the loft area. It is an old building, Sisky Palace, that once had wonderful soaring ceilings. The loft level that holds the bed and nightstands was added many years ago, along with wooden steps to access it.
While sturdy enough, the steps are narrow, and rise alongside a large original window that opens to another courtyard, serving the building on the street behind the block that faces the Rynek. I believe the step structure would benefit from being replaced with something wider and more contemporary which could probably be accomplished at reasonable cost.
