Cosy cottage within walking distance of Mumbles town, albeit steep for the return, and close to a lovely coastal walk to local bays. It was clean and comfortable and situated in a quiet area. Very well equipped and the welcome breakfast, tea, coffee and biscuits were much appreciated. Bowls and a bed were provided for our dogs and even washing pods for the washing machine. The owners seemed to think of everything.

Steep open stairs were not suitable for those with mobility issues, but it is an old cottage. Two tiny patios which weren't suitable for letting the dogs onto.

It was self catering bit a lovely welcome hamper greated us.

The cottage was very pretty, comfortable, clean and in a quiet area close to Mumbles town. Literally a few metres down from the cottage there was a great walk leading to one of the beaches. Great for dog walks. We were left a very special hamper with many tasty snacks which we really appreciated. The woodburner came in very useful as it was cold in the evenings and we had been left enough wood to use during our stay.

There were a few issues with the boiler when we arrived which were managed but this took time. As we were only staying for a days, I felt this should have been managed before our arrival. We like to park the car and walk everywhere which would be ideal if we didn't have baby. The cottage is at the top of a very steep hill which is hard work with a pushchair. The cottage isn't really appropriate for babies or children under 5yrs

Not the relaxing quiet break I had hoped. Very thin walls so noise from both sides from neighbours with small children was a problem. Stayed over the weekend and both sets of neighbours had guests and loud noise. The one side had what must have been a party and the music was going until 5am. Contacted the cottage owners around 4am and they advised I called the police. I explained I did not want to do that as I was holidaying on my own and did not want any come back. I had needed a relaxed break but was glad to get home to some quiet. I requested a refund for the saturday night when I was kept awake all night but they said they can't do anything about neighbours noise. They said it had never happened before but I can't imagine anyone being happy with the thin walls and noise travel. Cottage itself was okay but stairs were a hazard as they were open and steep and uneven so some may struggle. The kitchen was adequate but needed updating...most appliances were trailed using extension leads which did not appear that safe? Bathroom could also do with updating. It was a shame the owners were not willing to refund the one night especially as this cottage was not cheap.
