Elounda Stories Boutique Hotel

Cleanliness , boutique !

Sunbeds on the roof- could make better use of space.

The hotel is great, but what really made all the difference was the staff and how kind it has been! Anything we asked for was taken care of with much care, and sincerely it has been the best staff we met, and we traveled to several dozens of hotels across the world so we have a reasonable sample to compare it with. Beyond that, the hotel itself is pretty great for a summer vacation in a small Greek town like Elounda: - The hotel and the rooms were quiet despite being close to the road and center. - The shower is fantastic. - Our room had a small outside jacuzzi which was a really nice way to relax in the chillier evenings. - Breakfast were pretty good, just took us the 2nd day to figure out what we should pick from the list and figure out all that's available. - It's only a few minutes away from some great restaurants and the beach, and several minutes by car to awesome locations like Plaka and Agios Nikolaos. We wanted a vacation in Elounda and not in a resort on the outskirts where most things like restaurants, etc. would be out of walking distance, so this is probably the best hotel in Elounda that fits into the category, and the staff makes it an easy decision if that's what you're after.

I don't think the hotel has much to do with it because I think it mostly has to do with the limitations of a small town like Elounda but parking and walking from the parking can be a bit challenging. The parking is pretty steep and the less than a minute walk on the road can keep you on your toes with the cars passing by.

Beautiful property, exactly like the photos. walking distance to everything and the staff are amazing! So friendly and considerate. Would recommend hiring a small car to drive to some of the other beaches nearby - parking isn’t too bad once you get used to the narrow bend.

We stayed at the hotel in 2025 and returned in 2026. The hotel is excellent, great facilities, very friendly and helpful staff, superb location walking distance to beach, town and restaurants and bars. Couldn’t ask for a better location.
