My husband and I had a great short weekend here. House was very clean and the location was great. Easy to get to Woodstock and downtown Saugerties. We didn't use much in the house but would stay here again if we needed to be in the area!

We had a great week at the Catskills Retro Retreat. The house was just beautiful, the renovation was impressive! Beautiful fittings and furniture and I especially loved the pottery too! The beds and couch were very comfortable, and road noise wasn't an issue at all. We have stayed at houses on other roads further south in the HV and they were noisy. Even the primary bedroom suite (on the road side of the house) was quiet because of the good windows. The road isn't very busy at all and we were there during peak summer, including the weekend. The owners have many books and cookbooks about the Catskills and guides for food, hiking and walks and they were really helpful to us as we were new to the area. Saugerties is an amazing village and we loved it! We hope to move there next year if we can find a house. The amenities were perfect and everything is well organized and clean. The fenced yard and dog run are the best we've ever had in a vacation rental. Really safe for even small pups, no gaps. We saw lots of birds, frogs, toads, and even some deer on the property. We'll definitely be back... we'll make this our base for house-hunting in the area for sure!
