Harbor Light Inn

Clean comfortable room with good value for the Door County Area. There is a common area that allows couples or families to make their own meals in a shared kitchen.

The property is a little too far north for the activities of the Door County area. Shopping for basic needs and gas stations are 6 minutes or more south of the property. Plan ahead accordingly.

The room was very nice and very clean. There was more than enough room for the 3 of us. The mattresses on the beds could have been a bit more firm, but otherwise they were satisfactory. The kitchenette facilities in the room were adequate for our needs. The facilities in the common room were generally fine as well. The location of the inn was at the northern end of the peninsula so we had to drive quite a bit to get to the other towns to the south, but we were aware of this before we booked our stay. But because of our location, there was very little car traffic, and the area was very quiet. The view out of our window was nice, and we could see Green Bay even though we were not right on the shore.

Our one complaint directly related to the room was that the WiFi could have been better. The signal strength came and went during our entire stay, and even when the signal strength was good, the bandwidth of the signal was poor. We had one very minor complaint also regarding the kitchen facilities in the common room. We had need of a baking sheet for one meal, but that was the one item that was lacking in the kitchen. We made do though with what was available, and we were able to prepare our meal.

Outdated. Exterior needs curb appeal, could be really a draw with landscaping and maintenance.
