Nice modern apartment with two balconies! The kitchen had everything we needed, and we appreciated the ice cubes! Large comfy bed so we slept well, the street outside is noisy but it didn’t bother us at night. Brilliant location, less than 5 minutes walk from all of these: the beach, the bus station, some great bars and restaurants (including a rooftop bar), and the decent-sized Spar supermarket - although a larger one is also only a few minutes walk in the other direction too. It was great to be right in the centre! The parking space is outdoors in a nearby uphill car park, there is no ticket machine, you just pay €10 per night of your stay in cash when you leave the apartment with the city tax (this information would have been useful to know in advance instead of at the last minute!)

Hot water didn’t last long, there was enough for one person washing their hair but then the second person will have a cold shower! It is tiring trailing up and down all the stairs, especially with all your luggage, so staying here is only an option if you're young and fit. We would have appreciated some instructions for the parking at any point before we were already on the road driving to Malcesine; as all messages were sent in Italian and required individually copy and pasting to translate we just clicked the Google Maps link the host sent, but it turns out instructions for the specific parking place were hidden in the message (the confusion arose because the apartment's parking space is the only one in the car park with no relation to the apartment name; every other parking space is clearly marked with the name of other apartments and businesses but this one just has a random surname, which a non-Italian speaker wouldn't be able to pick out of a dozen messages in Italian unless we knew we were supposed to look for it. It would be far easier for guests if the parking spot sign simply read "Appartamenti Estera"). Again, if all this info had been sent in advance instead of when we were already in the car then we would have had the time to translate it all and read it properly and the confusion could have been avoided. It also would have been nice to have been warned at any point before the morning of check-out that we were expected to take all the rubbish out; if we'd have known that then we’d have opted to take it out the night before, when we weren't already going up and down all the steps several times with our luggage and it wasn’t pouring with rain! A pleasant stay in a nice apartment spoilt by poor communication at the start and poor communication at the end.

Very spacious and clean, newly renovated apartment, with a washing machine that was useful during my stay. The apartment is sound proofed quite well and the location is great for shops, restaurants and the cable car. Kitchen facilities are good, lots of cutlery and plates. the welcome sweets and bottle of Prosecco was a lovely touch. The host communicates only in Italian but this is not a problem at all.

The double bed is actually two single beds put together so if you do move around as you sleep, you actually fall into the hole in between. The bathroom only comes with hand soap so make sure you bring everything else. Washing machine provided but there is no liquid provided. The air con is not very cold, but during this quite warm September/october it was just about sufficient - it would need to be much colder in the summer months though.

Excellent location, clean and spacious with good facilities.

Svårt med att lasta i och ur bilen. Dålig kommunikation med värden. Instruktionerna var otydliga och han blev otrevlig när vi inte förstod honom. Kommunikationen fördes över meddelanden men den otrevliga tonen drog ner känslan av att lägenheten var bra.
