Dar Fatima is a beautifully renovated guesthouse. We were given a beautiful room, with comfortable beds, spacious bathroom and a terrace to enjoy during the cooler evenings and early mornings. We were warmly welcomed by Taieb who provided us great advice on what to do in and around Tozeur. He helped us arrange excursions with local guides who were kind, fun and knowledgable. We 100% recommend a stay in this beautiful and welcoming place. We had a wonderful stay!

The hotel itself is very modern and located nicely in the near of the Medina of Tozeur. The rooms are very clean and the breakfast ok.
The owner is a red flag and deceives his guests. He pretends to be the customer’s best friend but exploits that trust for his own gain. We booked rooms through Booking.com at a fixed price, but suddenly he demanded a much higher amount in dinars. When we pointed out that the agreed price was lower, he then insisted on adding 5% more if we wanted to pay by credit card, claiming it was a “service fee.” We felt tricked because if a fixed price is agreed upon through Booking.com, you cannot simply demand more on arrival. Furthermore, he offered desert tours at extremely inflated prices.
