A lovely cottage that was extremely tidy and clean. It was in a lovely location. We really enjoyed our time in Richmond.

We arrived at 11pm so it was dark. With the info we received, it was not made clear to walk down the lane on arrival. When we did work this out and walked down the lane, you pass a door with no5 on it, we mistook it for the actual address. There is no key box. The actual address is much further down the lane (where there is an obvious keybox). This was not made clear.

Very nice cottage , nice furnishings .

On arrival the place was freezing as no heating had been left on prior . It took hours for it to warm up with the electric heaters and electric fire , kitchen was freezing . The bedroom and bed was that cold we both slept in our clothes to keep warm .Noise from the nearby castle inn kept us awake until they shut the music off at midnight on the Saturday. Once the heating was left on the place became much more pleasurable to be in .
