Impressive restoration of an historic mill located along a river in a rural setting. It was quiet and peaceful. Great views from the upper level where the kitchen, dining and sitting areas are located.
The beds were not comfortable. We had the bedroom with the twin beds and it was a small space. The other couple had the ground floor en suite bedroom and they had a musty smell in that room. This was not a problem elsewhere.

For a short family break, we appreciated a part-week booking. The welcome treats of milk and oatcake were an enjoyable and valued surprise.The quiet cu-de-sac location, looking out over the bay from the top-floor living area, was perfect. With views east and west, the Kiln was a belvedere vantage point - a place we would have liked to spend more time in, rather than a base. Flawless accommodation and considerate hosts.

Mattress in the King bedroom on the ground floor on very comfortable, needs replacing along with the pillows
