Marco was incredibly helpful ahead of arrival, including checking train schedules, and very considerate of our changing needs. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed. Pleasant view of the mountains from the kitchen window. Nice quiet area and an easy 15min walk into the city centre. Maybe a little far for seniors with luggage so consider a taxi. Air conditioning was very nice.

A little bit small for our needs (one senior, two adults and an energetic small child) but ideal for a couple or just parents and kids. Mosquitoes were a serious issue, we had to keep the windows closed at all times despite the humidity. This affects all of the region in September so is not really a problem with the apartment, just pack repellent! Otherwise a great stay!

Die kleine Wohnung ist ruhig gelegen. Wir wurden gemäss Abmachung pūnktlich und sehr herzlich empfangen und die Wohnung wurde gezeigt. Den Türknopf zum verlassen des Gebäudes/Tors haben wir zuerst nicht entdeckt. Dank telefonischer Nachfrage konnte das Problem bald gelöst werden

Alles super! Wegen Problemen im Zugverkehr mussten wir spontan eine Unterkunft finden- das hat zum Glück wunderbar geklappt...

The apartment is located on the ground level of an apartment building in a peripheral area of Domodossola. Center of Domodossola is about 5 minutes by car. Getting access to the apartment was easy, parking is convenient across the street from the building. The area is very quiet, also at night. In general, we did not like the apartment as much as we thought we would, and a rate of 100-110€ per night is too high for this place imo. The main reason was the condition of some of the furniture and equipment, especially the kitchen. Also, there are very few electricity sockets in the apartment which is of course not a disaster but it is inconvenient in this modern day and age. Bed linnen was clean but strange choice of fabric (for our taste at least). This made the bed less comfortable, even when mattress and pillows were firm enough. When we arrived, the clean towels were still wet. We texted the owner and he solved it immediately, nevertheless this is unusual and some might even say inconsiderate.
