We had a spacious room with plenty of wardrobe space. It was stylish and elegant, with an appearance far superior to the 2 star rating of the hotel. The air conditioning uit was set at the perfect temperature and made hardlly ny noise. The room was equipped with a fridge so I could keep my beer chilled. We asked for a quiet room, and we were given a room at the back of the hotel with an extended balcony containing table and chairs. It was quiet, but not too quiet. The receptionist was helpful and friendly. When we arrived, she helped us to move our luggage into the room and made sure that we were comfortable. she was always on hand to give advice about the local area. The hotel had a superb restaurant and our friendly waiter gave us excellent advice on choosing from the menu. The cost ofthe meal wasm't cheap, but both the food and wine were sensational.

We would have liked an electric kettle in the room, so that we could make hot drinks any time we wanted.
