Just beautiful. Beautiful a view of the ocean. Wonderful food, reasonably priced,
Would have liked more counter space in the bathroom. Really disliked the brown tissues that felt like paper towels.

We found MASANA Algarve to be a very family friendly place to stay. It offers a well balanced combination of an aparthotel and a boutique hotel. The small but well equipped kitchen in the apartments is a particularly valuable feature for families.
As frequent travelers, both privately and for business, we would rate the kitchen more in line with what you would typically expect from a standard business hotel. It was by no means bad, but it did not fully convince us either.

The hotel is absolutely beautiful. The apartments are very spacious, clean and modern. The pool setting is beautiful, with views if sea, comfy loungers and never too busy. Its also easy to access the beach.
The restaurants served great food and staff were all very helpful and attentive. We also had lovely massages during our stay which added to the relaxation!
I have several food allergies. The menus are all clearly marked up with allergens, but despite this, there were a couple of instances where I was either told I couldn't have something which the menu said was fine, or staff didn’t understand and I was served meals incorrectly. I would recommend some allergen training for the staff.
There was also very limited choice for vegans, which was, at times, difficult for my husband.

Beautiful property and very friendly staff
Very poor cleaning staff experience (did not show up, forgot things, did not close the door twice). Restaurant service good and friendly, but sometimes a bit slow (e.g. bringing coffee / tea only after 15 minutes, bill only after reminders). No hotel beach beds at the sea and direct sea access restricted - not ideal for those who prefer the sea to the pool.
