The room was okay, as you get what you pay for as they say. It could use a good cleaning, but not filthy. The beds were great. Some noise from the neighbors next door arguing, but really a quiet place other that. We were disappointed in the breakfast as it was only cold cereal, bagels with light plain cream cheese, small muffins, coffee and juice. One morning there were no napkins so I asked the front desk for napkins and she said she had to wait for the manager to go get some more. For me the convenience of the location was key as it was 5 minutes away from my son's home.

Everything was fine the only issue is upon check-in they wanted to charge me $25 extra for checking in 45 minutes early after driving for 15 and a half hours I refused and came back at 3:00 but all this should be disclosed ahead of time

This is not a luxury hotel. That being said, for the price, the rooms are clean and the staff is friendly. They even offer a small free breakfast option. Yes the place could use some maintenance and upgrades but then the price would go up. I have stayed here many times as it is the closest economical option to the Virginia Beach Amphitheatre and I have been pleased with my experience every time. In this case, I believe you get more than what you pay for.
