The Volare, an Ascend Collection Hotel

The room backed the freeway but was very quiet. Well maintained and close to local restaurants and bars.

I saw some reviews of people that had bad experience this year but for me it was start to finish just marvelous. I made sure on Expedia I bought a room with an ocean view which is wonderful but of course it's several blocks from the ocean, but it's way better than the freeway view. There's coffee in the room and it's about a 5-minute walk from the main drag the Avenue Del Mar in San Clemente where there's all Shops and restaurants, and it's about a 5-minute walk from the bagel shack. and I didn't use the pool or any other amenities but I slept in a beautiful clean spacious room with a big beautiful clean bathroom and just completely enjoyed myself in the town and in the facility with a wonderful kind multilingual staff and just overall excellent excellent experience. I think I got free parking by purchasing through Expedia and I'm not sure if there would have been a parking charge; I didn't really check that in detail. In any case I didn't pay for parking by booking through Expedia I believe. Probably worth checking for sure if you book here.

We had a nice stay. The staff was extremely polite and the place was extremely clean. I wish I had a couple more days there.

Had a great stay at the Volare Hotel! The hotel was clean, comfortable, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. A special shoutout to Daniel, who went above and beyond to help us during our stay. He was professional, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. Great experience overall, and I would definitely stay at the Volare Hotel again. Highly recommend!
