The IAH Houston Hotel

The hotel used to be Hyatt. It's a little hard to find since it's a little hidden but it was worthwhile staying there. Price was very reasonable. Room is spacious. It had two full size beds and a sofa sleeper. It was decorated nicely. Plenty of security cameras throughout the building so we felt safe. Not sure what happened with WiFi; it was not offered or not available. The air conditioner kept the room cold but our AC unit made a little noise like the "artificial rain" instrument. Beds were a little soft but the linens were clean. Water pressure was really good on second floor, a little too strong. Breakfast was simple. Eggs, sausage, cereals, oatmeal, apples, mixed fruit, biscuits or waffles. Pets are not allowed. Expedia listing is wrong saying they are allowed. Had to make other arrangements back home for our dog. We enjoyed the time we spent there since it wasn't crazy busy. It was nice and quiet. I would stay here again if I was in the area.

Clean rooms, great service.

I was shocked at how nice the setup was for the rooms & for the price. I enjoyed my stay. The breakfast was good especially the fruit. The only thing is I wish there was a microwave in the room & ice machines on each level. I had to keep going down to the 1st level

The first room that they gave us the shower wasn’t working and the second room didn’t have a phone. They said they went through renovations but I don’t see it at all. The paint is blotchy and the curtains have holes on them. Breakfast was plain not what you would expect from a hotel. There was only hard boiled eggs, biscuit with sausage and egg, cereal, and toast.
