Great time in Stokkseyri!

The hotel has a great gym and spa. I assumed that was included in my reservation as I did pay extra for a full breakfast. They told me there was an extra charge for access to the facilities. I paid over $300/night for the room and my room was a corner Room 324 and the smallest room on the third floor. I was very dissappointed.

The breakfast is amazing if you arrive early, the later you eat the more limited the options. The hotel is beautiful and I would have loved to explore the amenities however the cost for guest, although discounted seemed unreasonable given the cost of the rooms.
Would still highly recommend the hotel

When flying back home from your wonderful adventure trip around Iceland and you need a place to stay close to the airport this is it.
Great food, great location, a spa, first class service, then you need to experience this hotel.
If you are flying in and have a layover, then don’t cheat yourself out of this hotel.
My wife and I loved everything about it and you will too.
