This week was my forth time staying at Hotel Norte. I like it a lot, and give it 5 stars on everything . The staff is great. The restaurant is fine, and you get a full free breakfast.
If I can complain about one thing, it's the constant noise from the street below. Cabs horns honking, police vehicles megaphones. And the other night a dog barked outside my window from the street for two hours non stop.
Otherwise I really like Hotel Norte. It's great to be only a few steps from the border. No need to pay for a cab the second you set foot in Mexicali.
