Hotel Mundial

I would recommend this hotel. The pool on the roof was clean. The only downside is the location in the construction that is going on at this minute. I believe this area is up-and-coming.

The best thing about this hotel is the location. It cannot be beat!!

This was our second stay at Mundial. The staff was very helpful, even lending me a voltage converter because I had forgotten mine. The location is close to Rossio Plaza, the Baxia, Chado and Alfama neighborhoods, and easily accessible to the airport. The hotel will reserve transfers to and from the airport at reasonable cost, if asked. The rooftop bar is overpriced, but a nice amenity, as is the complimentary breakfast in the hotel restaurant. Verify your room accommodations. Our room was clean, large, and comfortable. It was not, however, equivalent to the room we had on our first stay. I will definitely return, but I'll be more careful about the room assignment (view, beds, proximity to the elevator, etc.).

Very nice arrival, with nice and professional personnel. Got an upgrade of the room which was also nice. On check out for early there was coffee and some croissant etc which is nice to start with before going to the airport hassles. It is also about as much as I want for breakfast. There is a rooftop bar with some food with probably the best view in Lisboa towards the castle, the river, the opposite areas and nearby steep hills with picturesque houses on top of each other. Most personell were execelent. Bathroom was clean and nice and spacious with place enough to put down your stuff. The bed could be be better, but was in no way unconfortable. Air con was good. There were enough electric outlets. Unfortunately, I didnt have time to visit the restaurant which looked great. The total was for me a rare 5 inspite of some minor things I have seen better in top hotels. And the it is in perfect location. ( have been in diffrent)
