A Characterful Coaching Inn set in lovely countryside - staff on the reception were very good, Bar and waiting staff, young but pretty good. The 2 steak dishes we had were also pretty good. We'd certainly stay here again. The Cosy Double Room we had just for 1 night was very clean and in excellent condition.

Fabulous location, the team (not staff) very friendly and helpful, we have a dog, so in the room was a dog bed, food and water bowl, lots of poo bins in the grounds, the only thing i would have liked is a small fridge in the room for the milk.
Totally recommend for a restful time away. Thank you the team at The Bear of Rodborough.
