Adina Apartment Hotel Cologne

It was excellent!! My family and I loved every part of it.

Loved the pool. Bit soulless otherwise and bar did not open Sunday- very annoying as hotel is marooned in new build commercial district

Hotel is in good proximity to the train station. As walkers, we enjoyed crossing the Hohenzollern Bridge everyday with its iconic views of the cathedral and other sights along the Rhine. From the hotel, it is less than a 1/2 mile to reach the Old Town. Our room was clean with a huge bathroom. Amenities were sparse but staff very responsive whenever we needed anything. The kitchenette and having a washer/dryer in our room was very convenient. Hotel also has an excellent pool and sauna.

Well situated just one train stop east of city centre. Walkable in 20 minutes. Nearby bars and restaurants. Staff were friendly and quick with check in and keeping the buffet breakfast area tidy. The breakfast times and choices are good. Food looks like it's a good quality. Pool is on the smaller size, but at least three lane space for swimming, and was good temperature for relaxing. Sauna is a good size. Didn't use the gym but it looked in good condition. The apartment style room had everything you need, including a washing machine (with washing powder which we eventually found). Washroom is spacious. A few minor issues. Washroom needs a bit of TLC. Grout mouldy in places. Our view out of the hotel is toward a litter strewn parking lot and the back side of the convention centre. And the bar, while very impressive, does not appear to function as one. While we were there, including over the weekend, I didn't see it was open. There are plenty of nearby options, it was just unusual for a hotel of that size not to operate as a bar. I would stay again.
