it was clean & comfortable in a quiet close of similar houses. Sufficient equipment. useful brochures for planning trips around the area.
The shower over the bath was awkward for an elderly person with some mobility difficulties. A grab rail & nonslip bath mat would have been helpful. No black bin bags to put used bedding into as requested.

Location was very good and close to amenities. Property was to a very high standard and was a real home from home

Plenty of space. Comfortable beds. Well equipped kitchen. Useful Lake District books and guides.
Easy access from Bowness to Ambleside, Grasmere, Hawkshead, Coniston and Dungeon Ghyll using the frequent open top bus service.
More careful cleaning needed in the bathroom.
