Amazing experience

This is a lovely peaceful place to stay with magnificent sunrises available from several bedrooms and at the lounges by the river. The staff were ever helpful and friendly. I highly recommend Residence Bassac. I do however recommend that if you partake in the alms giving ceremony to the Buddhist monks, that you find out the cost beforehand. I found it unreasonably high and would have rather given the money straight to the monks. Otherwise thank you Residence Bassac for a gracious, delightful and memorable stay.

Quiet location very friendly- good food. Probably the best property in the area other than going over to the island.

On a dusty country road in Southern Laos lies this wonderful little boutique hotel in an old French colonial building. Situated in the extremely cozy village of Champasak. 35 km south of Pakse.
The resturant is WONDERFUL and the staff here is always smiling and totally outstanding. The friendly chef pops out from the kitchen and gives a hand with the free bicycles. Averybody here is just awesome.
We stayed for a week and our room was really nice. Two floors and a nice balcony.
Good wifi, exellent breakfast, peace and quiet. We’ll be back!
