What a fantastic old property with fashionably new upgrades and lovely wooden structural beams

The room was nice, bathroom not very private due to sliding door. I had inquired about a late checkout at my reservation. I received an email stating that would be noted and was available. At check in I was told it would 40 extra euros. Would have been nice to have explained that in the email.

Great hotel in a superb location, and the character of the rooms is a step above anywhere else I have stayed in recently.
With convenient shopping and restaurants outside the front door it couldn't be better.
