Excellent place. We stayed in room 40 in the annexe for families. It has a big and comfortable main bed and bunk beds for kids. Clean and airy, very large room for family with great size bathroom. Pub food was excellent we had the chicken for dinner with wine all good, and sticky toffee pudding was generous size two could share. Overall a great place and convenient close to grasmere, Ambleside and the zip World. Great stay very pleased.

Very friendly well organised and efficient staff.
Nice comfortable stay.
The food was lovely and a great choice.
Just needed a winter weight duvet on the bed! No spare blankets in room.

The staff were fab, couldn’t do enough for you. We stayed for 2 nights and did a few walks round the area and it’s in a great area. The room was lovely and spacious. We also took our dog and the amount of space and areas they were allowed was great. The breakfasts were really nice and again, the staff were really great. My only real gripe was a 10:30am check out but that’s being really picky. We are already planning our next one
