Amazing location in the heart of Venice. A few min walk to the water bus that takes you around the city without having to go over bridges. Convenient location close to restaurants and shops. Tucked away in a corner, making it feel very private.

Cute stay, but the air conditioning didn't work, and it was over 90 degrees Fahrenheit every day. Lucky to get a lower unit otherwise, lots of stairs with luggage, as there is no elevator. No laundry services available. Tricky to find the location, and they wouldn't give us a code until we were standing in front of the door. Then, a code to get into the building and another to get your keys. They were physical keys, so we left them at the hotel each day. Convenient location. However, the process to get from the train station to the hotel via waterbus with luggage was challenging. I would suggest a water taxi with luggage (no waiting) and then a waterbus pass to get around the city. Lots of pickpockets in all the alleyways, so protect your valuables.

Great place

The communication was excellent. We greatly appreciated GKK arranging our transportation both from the airport to Venice & Venice to Port. Our private water taxi literally dropped us off at a private dock about 80 meters from GKK. It was a smooth experience. Our room was very clean and we were fortunate to have a view of a canal! The homemade breakfast delivered to our room (included with our stay) was delicious and quite bountiful. GKK is a very quiet, intimate boutique hotel. The location could not be beat! Centrally located in San Polo, we were a 15-20 minute walk (max) from all the districts within Venice. A delightful first experience in Venice and we hope to return.
