We really enjoyed our stay in the heart of Ypres. The Menin Gate was viewed from our property and attending the Last Post ceremony just outside our door was a truly memorable experience. The accommodation is spacious, modern and very comfortable. It was the ideal place for exploring Ypres and the surrounding battlefields.

Perfect location right by the Menin Gate, lovely view from the window and a 30 second walk to the gate, bars and restaurants. The accommodation is set out over 3 floors, the bedrooms are all very spacious and the house is well stocked with crockery, tea etc. as a family we particularly enjoyed the outdoor terrace and spent a lot of time eating meals and relaxing out there. The decor of the house really sets it apart. The photograps on the wall, memorabilia and literature really makes you feel connected to the history of Ypres and the Menin Gate. The house is so thoughtfully set up, and spotlessly clean, this was the perfect place for our stay.

We had the most enjoyable stay in Ypres in this beautiful home. The host was fantastic and so helpful. We were so grateful to be invited to be part of the Menin Gate ceremony marking the 96th year of the sounding of the last post, a memory that will stay with us forever.
