The hotel is great, there were just bees everywhere! It was wild. Their solution was just burning this incense to try to get them to go away.
The worst part about this place other than the bees was the fact that if you didn't eat before 10 PM, there's seriously no options and the hotel doesn't have in room dining.
Other than that, the restaurant was pretty good and the hotel was clean and nice.

Property has exceptional views from pool and restaurant and is away from the noise and commotion of larger towns in the area.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Villa Douce. The property is beautiful, well appointed, and perfectly located. Our family loved the spacious room with bunk beds, which was a huge hit with the kids.
The partner beach club was a fantastic bonus, and the on-site restaurant delivered one of our favorite meals of our entire trip to France. The combination of great service, accommodations, excellent food, and stunning views made this a memorable stay. We will definitely return and highly recommend this hotel to families.
