I couldn’t help but take myself back in time while we stayed here. I imagined the site being prepared for the first building, then expanded. I looked at the wavy floors and leaning staircase, and realized that they didn’t have to do soil test before putting the foundation in. I just found this very charming and hope that many other people will choose this and allow themselves to be transported back to a time where life just seem to be more simple.

Just wonderful. Had a wonderful meal downstairs. Walked the neighborhood, to the lake. A unique and beautiful area.

Loved to be able to stay in a historic landmark. Keeping in mind that the building is over 100 years old so things are not perfect but it is very well maintained and very clean. It is said to be haunted but we had no encounters and loved to talk to the staff about stories from other guests and hears about the history of the building.
