We really liked this hotel and plan to return. A lot of thought and care went into the design of the building and it grounds with its well-laid out gardens. The hotel's location is ideal, with immediate access to the town center and its canal-side boardwalk. The property has its own parking lot, but in any case we easily found parking for our Tacoma on the street. Our room was only one door down from the lobby and the piano, yet the room was perfectly quiet inside, and very comfortable. From the small balcony, the view of the canal and the park across the water was simply lovely. My only comment--rather trivial considering the property as a whole--is that the chairs in our room were showing their age and in needed reupholstering. We highly recommend this hotel.
