Chateau De Maraval was just the castle experience we wanted from the medieval region from France. We were on a girl's trip and were provided two rooms that were beautifully furnished and stocked up.
All the interiors was tastefully done. Outside of the castle is medieval but the rooms were with modern amenities. It was like living the best of two worlds. The property is well maintained. The staff were very helpful and kind. We had an amazing time. We definitely would recommend this for families and girls trip if you want a nice quiet and fun getaway in medieval French setup .

Exceptional is probably the word I’m looking for (I’m honestly surprised it’s not rated 5x).
A beautiful boutique hotel — much prettier and posher than the photos suggest. The pictures don’t do it justice.
The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful, the rooms are cosy and thoughtfully designed, and the gardens and pool are simply stunning. Breakfast is superb — generous, high-quality, and beautifully presented.
Honestly, I’m struggling to find a single fault.

Wow just wow , I ve been fortunate enough to stay in some nice hotels around the world , and Chateau de Marvel is up there with the best.
The Chateau is stunning , and set in a great position to explore the local tourist attractions and Dordogne.
The heated outdoor swimming pool is an added bonus and a lovely place to relax in nature after a day out exploring. But what really makes this Chateau special is the staff , from Eric the gardener, Paula who makes the most amazing scrambled eggs and the rest , nothing is to much trouble,
Thank you for a incredible stay
