Quaint, rustic place, clean, well landscaped, friendly staff, very close to some very good restaurants, close to playa ventanas, it is wooden structure so quite rustic but goes well w the jungle vibes.

Tangara Azul is a little gem, lovely accommodation with lots of living space and a kitchen, nice pool and grounds, easy 15 min drive to Uvita, much better value than staying there. Also has the citrus restaurant and a deli on site.

The cabiña we stayed in was really cute, but I didn’t feel it was super functional and definitely not accessible for all. The stairs to the bedroom were quite steep, and the dining table and build-in bench were in the open air (fine for most, but I’m a mosquito magnet!) so there was nowhere to really hang out except for in bed. It was nice to have a kitchen, and we had a great meal at Citrus. No one was working the desk when we tried to check out in the morning.
