Everything is nice for the location and price. Only downside is no elevator in the front door, not heavy luggage friendly.

Overall, the stay was ok, if you need a no frills stay. The staff at the front were friendly and helpful. The rooms were a decent size. It was helpful to have a couple of supermarkets close by. It was about a 15 min walk to the colosseum and train station. However, there were things that I feel could have made our experience even better: a larger safe that could fit a tablet/laptop (the one in the room could only fit a wallet), shampoo/conditioner (there was only soap in the shower and no other toiletries included), a refresh of towels (fresh towels are only available every 3 days and when we asked for a fresh set after the third day we were told there would be a charge. Front desk ended up waiving the fee thankfully. We needed extra towels because there is no shower door, so the water tends to leak out of the shower creating a slippery mess.

We enjoyed our stay as a family of four. I’d be happy to recommend this place and would gladly stay here again if we visit Rome in the future. A few highlights: 1. Great value. 2. A 10–15 minute walk to the Colosseum and 20–25 minutes to the centre. Easy to arrange a taxi or metro if walking isn’t ideal for you. 3. The room is clean and modern. The air-con worked really well — we chose this hotel because many older buildings in Rome reportedly have weaker air-conditioning. 4. Staff are helpful and friendly. We were arriving close to check-in closing time, but they stayed in constant contact with us. 5. The filtered water machine was really useful. 6. The bed was clean, and the mattresses were comfortable — even for the two additional beds.
