Hampton Inn by Hilton Litchfield

Would like to know ahead before booking that the pool was closed/out of order

For an older property, it was well maintained. The staff on both check-in and check-out were very amiable and greeted us immediately. Breakfast was varied and offered guests a wide variety of foods.

We had an excellent day while we were in town. Easy access to local restaurants and close to the freeway. Good selection for breakfast. We could see that they were in the process of updating, which is always nice to see. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Would stay here again.

This made an excellent home base for my few days of outings and meetings in the Litchfield area. My room was freshened daily and breakfast offerings were more than adequate — I appreciated the real oatmeal and dried fruit and nuts available for toppings. Am not a fan of the interior design style but room was comfortable and clean and I always appreciate having the option of a continuous fan setting on a hotel AC/heating unit for masking the freeway noise overnight. Staff were friendly and helpful, located near several lunch and dinner options — was happy to find a few not-fast-food options, including a couple open until 9 or later.
