Great stop off on way down South, handy location just off the M1, good pub, decent room and a great breakfast, for the price I couldn’t fault it.

Lovely stay, wonderful friendly and helpful staff. Room was comfortable even if a little dated, would 100% stay again.

We’re checked in swiftly by friendly and helpful manager. Room was a good size, well appointed, comfy bed with good quality bedding and extra pillows. Bathroom looked a little tired, but effective shower and a good size.
Breakfast was plentiful, lots of choice and all very tasty. Ate in the restaurant on both nights of our stay - although usual pub fare, was well-priced, well cooked and quickly served.
Every member of staff from manager to bar and restaurant staff and cleaners were friendly and helpful.
Would definitely stay again if in the area.
