The air conditioning was not working well - we could not get the temperature below 80 F in the room. Kitchen had just one large bowl for salad / food prep. Gym was OK.
Staff was friendly, pool and waterslide was awesome, we enjoyed the balcony. The entire area around The Cove was beautiful with lots to do and see. Beautiful walking / biking paths. All shopping amenities very close and convenient. Many choices to eat out including dinner at local wineries. The restaurant right in The Cove was very good. The Cove has so much to offer!

Overall a great place for a family vacation. In a nice location with the lakefront and pool. Also a path that leads to another public beach.
It was my first time staying and I didn’t feel the desk staff helpful on check in - ie just points to the elevator saying my room is on the 2nd floor, said there’s underground parking and you can park anywhere. When I went underground most have reserved spots so I went back for clarification, “anywhere” means one of the few spots that aren’t reserved. Then they were annoyed when I asked how to get to the beach. The rest of the staff were nice and helpful, just the first impression with the young guy at the desk after travelling 9 hours was not very welcoming or helpful.
I had a lake view which was amazing. Deck was very large. Room was clean and had a kitchen.
Neighbour clearly lived there, their deck was filled with plants and the smell of incense coming from next door was off putting. AC wasn’t working well on the last day so it got incredibly hot and hard to sleep. No windows to open just the doors, but with the bats flying around at night that wasn’t an option.
I think the price is a little high for what you get but I would come again just for the proximity to lake and wineries. And the view!

The check in time is later than most resorts. The check out time is 10:00, earlier than most resorts. The Restaraunt does not do an early breakfast and opens at 10:00 on weekends. You have to eat elsewhere (off Site) for an early morning breakfast.
