Westport Inn

The room was clean and that is much appreciated. It was very hard to cool off the room on a hot day because none of the windows opened. We had to open the door and put a fan in to pull the cool air in We got back to the property later on Saturday and there was no where to park. We had to park pretty far away. This was partly due to available parking and partly due to thoughtless people wh took more than one spot to park. We also experienced a lot of noise after 10 making it hard to go to sleep. We have stayed here before and really liked it, but this time was disappointing. The property definitely did not make it easy to just enjoy ourselves.

Cabins are great!

Could use higher quality toiletries. Loved our stay. We always stay at the Westport Inn. They consistently have great prices and remodeling looks great. Great view from 2nd and 3rd floors. Always clean. We stay in the cabins often as well.

Spent 2 nights in a King Suite. I found the room to be clean and comfortable, good water pressure and no "mildew smell" as some others had mentioned. In fact, it smelled like glass cleaner and the mirrors were sparkling. There is a nice fish cleaning station with crab cooker and picnic table. My room was on the bottom level, and at 4:00 am you could hear the toilets flushing and people coming down the stairs to go fishing. I don't blame this on the hotel - some folks just don't have the common courtesy to keep quiet during early hours. Thankfully, I was fishing that day as well so it wasn't a bother to me. Others may have felt different! Overall, my stay was enjoyable and I will return for another stay!
