Clean room

Arriving at the property, 1st thoughts were not good! We had been given instructions by message of how to enter the building and were told our room was on the third floor and that there would be no staff present. We went up in the small lift to the 3rd floor, entered the door code and retrieved our room key from the table just inside the door. The cleaner was still present and confirmed that our room was ready. She was very pleasant and showed me to a small balcony off the hall where I could smoke if necessary. Hallway was clean and modern. We then entered the room and were very pleasantly surprised. Very clean, very modern and an excellent use of space. A small notice board with all relevant info. Bathroom was also very clean and obviously refurbished recently. An absolute gem. On checking out, the cleaner and other staff were present, also very helpful, loaning us scissors and a staple gun for our case lables. Apologetic about asking for the city tax, but this is something we were expecting. Overall a very pleasant experience and we would certainly stop here again.
