Large room, clean and convenient!

The single room I had was a nice size, and was not claustrophobic. It was also relatively quiet, except for one major issue. The way the plumbing appears to be designed, or at least pressurized, creates a HUGE noise when the shower in the adjacent room was used. It is not the usual plumbing noise one becomes accustomed to hearing in some motels/hotels, no, it was much, much more than that. When it first occurred I had just placed the tv on Mute and was doing some work on my laptop, when all of a sudden I heard this sort of really loud, kind of 'white noise' sound. At first I thought something had gone wrong with my tv and it was the cause of the disturbance. But then I realized what it must possibly be. The really weird thing is that it always seemed to emanate from the entire adjoining wall, and not just one smaller spot. It sounded rather like a large symphony of high pressure pipes. Thank god the neighbors didn't use the thing late at night, but early the next morning was another story. Maybe it is just the room I had where this was an issue, I don't know. But that is definitely problematic.

There's free parking, but not enough for everyone. One of the staff was wonderful; the other was not at all friendly.
