While it appears to be a renovated older property, it is clean, well maintained and safe. I enjoyed my stay, and would have given a higher rating if I had been given the walk-in shower room as requested. Being disabled made it too exhausting to set settled in one room and then transfer to another. Great restaurants nearby, hamdy to John Wayne Airport, minimal to no traffic noise, and the self-serve snacks, beverages and laundry were a plus.

We didn't arrive until very late, 11pm, so didn't notice the small spots of blood on our sheets until the morning. We mentioned it on the note left by housekeeping, but never received a reply. tbh, we should've gone to the front desk to request two more pillows. Two hard, and two soft just don't cut it.
