Couldn’t recommend this hotel more! We had an amazing stay at Maisha, the staff were an absolute highlight for us and really made the trip special. A huge shout out to Edward who was always a friendly face with warm conversation and made the best drinks at the bar, he really made our trip memorable! We loved the beach bar and the food and drinks were great. I highly recommend using the TukTuk service to visit local Nungwi & Kendwa beaches, it costs a couple of dollars and is very worth it. The drivers are great and can pick you up whenever needed.
The staff are really helpful if you have any questions or need any recommendations on what to do on the island.
We loved the couples massage and recommend doing this whilst at the hotel.
The hotel is steps away from the Mnarani turtle conservation pond which was a highlight for us, and focuses on turtle welfare and rehabilitation vs a tourist trap.
