Garni Waltoy

Our room was spacious and clean, breakfast was good and they always tried to accommodate our needs, location was lovely, and Martina was a great travel guide. I would recommend this hotel.

The European duvets are quite warm and they don't use sheets, so it can be hot at night. I would recommend having a lighter blanket option in warmer months.

The owners care. They made sure I knew the bus system to get to the trailhead. The almond and fruit home made crumble cake was addictive. The coffee was the best in Italy. And the room was clean and quiet. Just a pleasant stay. The bed was a bit too firm for me though. Martina rocks, as does their breakfast buffet.

That I had to leave and go home.

We stayed at Garni Waltoy for a week and we absolutely loved it! Martina and her family made us feel so welcome! If we ever go to Dolomites again, we will definitely stay here again. The place is very clean and cozy. The location is perfect - it’s very close to a number of cable cars, hike starts, bike rentals, restaurants, supermarkets, bus stops. So even if you arrive without a car, you will feel very comfortable. If you’re not sure what to do, don’t worry, Martina will give tons of advice of where to go. Tip: always listen to her tips - she knows what she’s talking about. Another plus of the hotel is that they have sauna! After a long hiking day, it’s so nice to relax there.

Clean, friendly staff, nearby restaurant was great and spectacular view from our bedroom and outdoors as well.
