Excellent location, walking distance within 15-20min to most attractions. The hotel is nice and clean, tiny elevator tho but I do understand that is an old building. I would love to have a tinted shower glass for some privacy even I am traveling with my husband. Plus I had to ask for extra blanket because its so thin.
Furthermore, the hotel provides 2 bottles of water per day, definitely take advantage of that!
Overall I would definitely recommend this hotel and will choose it again when I come to Athens!

The L’Avventura Hotel was very conveniently located in an historic part of Athens and 400 metre from Monestraki metro station which is great for those arriving from the airport or ferry.
Staff were very helpful with advice about food and check in and check out.
Within easy walking distance of Acropolis, Acropolis Museum and Archaeological Museum (which is outstanding).
My advice is to head out of the “tourist area” towards Kepamikos to see the “real” Athens with its clusters of similar businesses and where prices drop dramatically!
