Breakfast was delicious, freshly made to order. Staff made me feel at home.

An old, historic building, beautifully restored. Room was comfortable and breakfast very good. Owner very friendly and helpful.

We booked this on the day and arrived within several hours of making the reservation, and Manolo the owner was there to greet us. Lovely friendly man who runs the 14 century hotel as a hobby while running a dental practice. The attention to detail in the hotel is superb and location is in the old part of town with very narrow streets (when driving) but well worth hunting it down. Breakfast was a Spanish affair, simple but very tasty and looked after by 2 ladies who couldn’t have been friendlier. Would recommend.

This property is in the heart of Quadix, Spain. Initially it was hard to find but upon contacting the owner he met us near the property (I drove by it twice) and showed us where to park. He has completely renovated this property built in the 1500s while maintaining its original charm. While he spoke Spanish only ( it is in Spain!) and I clearly should have paid more attention in Spanish class… we communicated successful with our Google Translate app. Breakfast was simple and good and included in our rate. There is a great cathedral very close, some wineries and unique area of home built into caves where 2000 people reside. It is a day trip to Granada and the AlHambra site! I highly recommend staying hear for an experience you probably won’t find in the travel books!
