The staff at the rec option desk was very welcoming and friendly. The room was an ok size for a single occupancy. Typical twinbed style as it is common in Europe. Clean room. Comfortable mattress (I prefer the harder mattresses), and shower and sink water pressure were perfect. It is also only a 10-minute walk to Koelnmesse or one subway stop.

Great location near the train station and arena. Nice walkable area with a few dining options. Only 20 min walk to the cathedral

Very close to Gamescom, the reason for my visit, and not too far from the city center. Clean, great beds, superb breakfast. Can highly recommend!
