The room was overall clean but could use some general maintenance. The host was very responsive to our late arrival and provided all the info we needed. The kitchen had a few tools and tableware, but advised guests that nothing was truly sanitized. It would have been nice to have a bottle of bleach to do our own sanitizing.
Rooms are on the second floor (only) with only staircase access. Beneath the rooms are several businesses. Ours, unfortunately was above a late night bar/restaurant. Was a bit noisy when we went to bed. Shower was nice, towels and toiletries great (including beach towels). Really nothing in the kitchen except some ice. It had both a drip coffee maker and a toaster, but no condiments or coffee. The outdoor patio overlooked the beach was nice. It was a short walk out onto the beach, which was groomed every morning and had lifeguards on duty. Could also rent loungers and umbrella @ $20/piece. A bit of a seaweed problem the day we were there. Tends to be seasonal but was unsightly and gross to walk through. More beach guests than swimmers.
The locals around the hotel were a bit concerning, but you could tell the folks who vacationed or wintered in the area.

Great location, clean room, comfy bed! Parking is tight, just so you know. Wonderful getaway. Would stay again!
