Lovely hotel . Very peaceful, relaxing space .Fabulous garden . Great breakfast . Couldn't find staff to order drinks/lunch . Extremely slow service . Staff seem to be new & not able to answer questions - although all very pleasant / friendly. Expedia website says - free bottle of wine . Misleading . You get a small vial of white port .
Hotel also offers complimentary drink but small print says this too is a glass of port not a drink of your choice .
Ground floor room at front of hotel was right on street with public walking past room . Could not open curtains etc.

Stayed at the hotel for a long weekend with my wife. It’s a very nice boutique hotel close to the city center (15–20 minutes on foot). Our room was contemporarily designed and decorated, and breakfast was great. We heard the restaurant offers a good dining experience, though we didn’t get to try dinner there ourselves, as we had a list of other restaurants downtown we wanted to check out. On Fridays and Saturdays, there’s either a DJ or live music in the restaurant/bar area. Staff were very helpful throughout — from reception to the restaurant to housekeeping. The hotel is also less than a 10-minute walk to/from Campo 24 de Agosto metro station, which connects directly to/from the airport. Will definitely book the Editory Garden Hotel for our next trip to Porto.
