Hotel was fine. Kimberley made me a little nervous, worried about crime.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Protea Hotel Kimberley, situated next to the famous Big Hole in Kimberley, South Africa.
The hotel itself was everything I could have hoped for - comfortable and spacious rooms and stunning views of the Big Hole. The restaurant offered a delicious range of meals, while the bar was the perfect place to unwind with a refreshing drink.
The hotel's location was the real highlight of the stay. The hotel has direct access to the Big Hole historical area through a small gate The museum, exhibitions, and viewing platform all provided a fascinating insight into the history of the mine.
Overall, I would highly recommend the Protea Hotel Kimberley to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient base from which to explore the area's rich cultural heritage.
