Dom Literatury Pokoje Gościnne

The room was comfortable, but the mattress could have been in better shape. The elevator was odd. Could only be used from the 1st floor up. Had to go down stairs to bring the elevator up to get baggage. Should be noted for future guest. No AC may be issue in the Summer. The refrigerator is in the hall community use. This may matter to some guest.

The location was excellent for sites, hop on hop off, taxi service, food and suivniers. It was clean and the staff was very nice. Rooms are simple beds and towels ok. Community frige, limited TV channels none in English, elevator is small and is usually only available to go up. To go down with bags you go down steps to bring elevator up load it and go down. Must follow printed directions in elevator.

Property is nice but dated

I stayed there for 4 out of my 6 nights in Warsaw in June. The location overlooking the Castle Square was excellent. The Square is very lively so I enjoyed leaving my window open during the day, and it was quiet when the window was closed at night. The hotel is close to great shopping and dining options, as well as convenient to the rest of the Old Town, the Royal Castle, the riverfront, museums and many other interesting sights. The city is very walkable, but there is also good public transportation. The room was clean and had a nice view, and the staff was friendly and helpful. There is an Uber, Bolt and taxi pick-up/drop off area just around the corner.
