Highly recommend Mitsui Garden Hotel Kyoto Shijo! The location is fantastic, situated in a vibrant spot right off Shijo Street, it's just a short 6 minute walk to the subway and Hankyu lines, making it incredibly easy to explore Nishiki Market and the rest of Kyoto.
We lucked out with a free upgrade to a Wide King room, which was incredibly spacious and well designed, a rare find and a massive win. The comfort levels were top; the premium bedding and modern amenities made for an exceptionally relaxing stay. After a massive day of walking and sightseeing, coming back to such a quiet, comfortable room and winding down in the hotel's brilliant indoor public bath house was absolute perfection. Clean, stylish, and highly convenient, we would definitely stay here again!
