TownePlace Suites by Marriott Ottawa Kanata

Good location and helpful staff

Hotel is well located, close to the highway as well as shops and restaurants. The staff were very friendly and helpful while the rooms were fairly spacious and clean. The breakfast is OK but fairly average. I've there many times and will probably use it again later in the year.

Breakfast was minimal at best, and could easily be improved. The breakfast staff person was excellent however. The elevator was the only place where I questionned the quality of maintenance and the choice of equipment. I was in an accessible room which was very impressive. If it were possible to add a door stop to the bathroom door, it would make it easier to enter and leave the room.

We recently stayed at TownePlace Suites for one night, and our only regret is that we couldn't stay longer! The Pros: ✔️ The Service: Check-in was very smooth, and we received a wonderfully warm welcome from the staff. ✔️ The Room: Spotlessly clean and well-prepared with all advertised amenities. ✔️ The Kitchen: Loved the full kitchen space, complete with all the required appliances and cookware. ✔️ The Comfort: The bed was incredibly comfortable—we slept amazingly well. ✔️ The Standard: As a Marriott-managed property, we expected a high-quality experience, and they did not disappoint. Room for Improvement: The breakfast itself was good, but the dining area is quite small and struggled to accommodate all the guests in the morning. (Note: We didn't have time to visit the pool or gym during this short trip). I will definitely be revisiting this hotel in the future. Highly recommended!
